Hey, I’m Emily!
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Emily – lead LMT, founder, and visionary behind Mission Massage and Wellness. Thank you for being here!
My own story begins with a massage.
After spending a year as a missionary EMT in Haiti, I was burnt out and unsure if I would ever return to the medical field. I loved serving others through EMS, but the long hours and stressful environment had taken a toll on my body and my mind.
Then, a friend gifted me a massage.
This began the healing journey for my body and my nervous system. For the first time in a very long time, I was actually able to relax! Getting off the massage table, I felt like a different person than when I had arrived. Before long, I was able to go back into the medical field and do what I love again. Now, I have the joy of giving the gift of massage to others!
As a former missionary, I am especially passionate about serving those in, or returning from, the mission field. If that’s you, I would love to offer you a discounted massage. Please fill out our contact form to get in touch!
When I’m not at the massage table, you can typically find me on an adventure with my husband, James. He’s my greatest supporter and even assists with this business behind-the-scenes! One thing we value most is quality time – exploring together (usually on our longboards) spending time with family, traveling to new places, and always always finding a good cup of coffee.

Our office is located in New Holland, just off of Main Street. We are also available for travel massage by special request.

Your massage should never hurt. If you choose deeper work, there may be moments of tenderness and soreness, but always speak up if you are in pain!

We work best directly on bare skin, the best way to be able to manipulate and feel muscles and tissue. That being said, you are always welcome to undress to your personal level of comfortability.

We offer a quiet massage so you can have the chance to relax! If you are more comfortable chatting during your experience, we enjoy that as well.

Believe it or not, we actually recommend naps! Sleeping allows you to enter a deeper state of relaxation and healing that allows your massage to have even greater benefits. Don’t worry – we will wake you up if needed!

Massage Therapy is a profession that can include tips. We do not expect tips, but if you love your experience and decide to tip, we accept!

A monthly maintenance massage is very beneficial. For clients with special considerations, we offer a suggested timeline based on your goals and needs.

Any massage therapist working with Mission Massage & Wellness is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
I (Emily) am licensed (#MSG015850) with training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish modalities, Reflexology, Range of Motion Techniques, Prenatal and Postnatal massage, lymphatic drainage, deep tissue, and sports recovery massage.
